It is an inherent desire of Muslims either practicing or non-practicing, sinner or non-sinner to get close to Allah (S.W.T). But the question is how to get close to Allah, and more particularly the easiest way to get nearer to the Almighty Lord of the Universe.

The “Judgment Day” has been given almost 20 names by Allah (S.W.T) in the Quran, due to its significance. Imam al-Qurtubi said: “Anything that is great has many descriptions and names”. Al-Waqi’ah (the occurrence) is one such name of the day of resurrection.
