Two beautiful names and attributes of Allah (S.W.T), i.e. Ar-Rahman & Ar-Raheem are mentioned in the first Chapter of the Holy Quran. Allah (S.W.T) introduces himself as “Ar-Rahman and Ar-Raheem”.
Ramadan Karim is the 9th month of the Islamic Calendar. It is the holiest month in Islam. Muslims all over the world observe fasting (abstain from food, drinks and sex) from dawn to sunset. Ramadan was made fardh (obligatory).
The main lesson in Surah Kahf is to stop chasing the beauty and bounties of this temporary world and to stop following materialism for the ultimate reward for a believer is not in this world but in the hereafter. Of the number of benefits one that is more often highlighted is that Surah Kahf recitation protects from the “Fitna of Dajjal”.
On the authority of Abu Hamzah Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) — the servant of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) — that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:
None of you [truly] believes until he loves for his brother that which he loves for himself. [Al-Bukhari] [Muslim]
عَنْ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ خَادِمِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه و سلم عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه و سلم قَالَ: “لَا يُؤْمِنُ أَحَدُكُمْ حَتَّى يُحِبَّ لِأَخِيهِ مَا يُحِبُّ لِنَفْسِهِ”. رَوَاهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ [رقم:13]، وَمُسْلِمٌ [رقم:45].
(Whoever recites Ya Sin in the night, will wake up forgiven, and whoever recites Ha Mim in which Ad-Dukhan (the Smoke) is mentioned, will wake up forgiven.) Its chain of narration is good (Jayyid) . Ibn Hibban recorded in his Sahih that Jundub bin `Abdullah, may Allah be pleased with him, said, “The Messenger of Allah said:

It was narrated on the authority of Umar (may Allah be pleased with him), who said:
While we were one day sitting with the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), there appeared before us a man dressed in extremely white clothes and with very black hair. No traces of journeying were visible on him, and none of us knew him. He sat down close by the Prophet (peace be upon him), rested his knee against his thighs, and said, “O Muhammad! Inform me about Islam.”
Surah Baqarah is a Madni Surah which was revealed after the migration of Prophet Muhammad from the city of Makkah to Madina.
Surah Baqarah is a most significant chapter of the Holy Quran and it covers a wide range of topics, like Commandments of Allah (S.W.T), stories of the Prophets, stories of the Cow, etc.
Surah Al-Fatiha (The Opening) is the first Makki Surah (Chapter) of the Glorious Quran. It is called “the Opening OR The Key” because it is the first Surah of the Quran, and the first Surah to be recited in every Salah/Namaz. Moreover, it is the “The Key or the Opening” to start our daily life activities with its recitation.
On the authority of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him), that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:
Let him who believes in Allah and the Last Day speak good, or keep silent; and let him who believes in Allah and the Last Day be generous to his neighbour; and let him who believes in Allah and the Last Day be generous to his guest. [Al-Bukhari] [Muslim]
I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say, “That which is lawful is clear and that which is unlawful is clear, and between the two of them are doubtful matters about which many people do not know. Thus he who avoids doubtful matters clears himself in regard to his religion and his honor, but he who falls into doubtful matters [eventually] falls into that which is unlawful, like the shepherd who pastures around a sanctuary, all but grazing therein.
On the authority of Abdullah, the son of Umar ibn al-Khattab (ra), who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say, “Islam has been built on five [pillars]: testifying that there is no deity worthy of worship except Allah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, establishing the salah (prayer), paying the zakat (obligatory charity), making the hajj (pilgrimage) to the House, and fasting in Ramadhan.”
